Steve Bannon and Chinese Billionaire's Viral Video Ensured The NY Post's Hunter Biden Report Would Be Discredited.
March 30, 2022
Steve Bannon received the contents of Hunter Biden’s laptop a month after being indicted for defrauding donors who contributed to building the southern border wall between the U.S. and Mexico. On August 20, 2020, the Department of Justice charged Bannon and other leaders of the ‘We Build The Wall’ campaign for defrauding donors. The fund had grown to a whopping $25 million.
The Dutch TV show Nieuwsuur, not aired at the time, taped the interview with Bannon on September 28, 2020. The former Trump advisor boasted, “I have the hard drive of Hunter Biden.” The interview came weeks before the New York Post broke their Hunter Biden laptop story on October 14, 2020.
Bannon was accused of pocketing more than $1 million from 'We Build the Wall funds." After former President Donald Trump pardoned Bannon, US District Judge Analisa Torres dismissed the charges against him.
On October 25, 2020, DailyMail.com published a new report, "Alleged Hunter Biden sex tapes are uploaded on Chinese video site linked to Steve Bannon." Bannon and his business partner Miles Guo leaked information from Biden's laptop through their media company GTV. It provided left-leaning media explosive narratives that discredited the laptop's contents leading up to the 2020 presidential election. The New York Post was the first to publish a blockbuster report on October 14, 2020, that exposed Hunter Biden and his father's corrupt business dealings while Joe Biden was still Vice President.
Bannon and Guo have a history of legal woes. After investors reported having been defrauded by Bannon and Miles Guo's GTV media, the SEC filed charges against the company for "conducting an illegal unregistered offering of GTV common stock." GTV and two other companies linked to Guo agreed to "pay more than $539 million to settle the SEC's action."
Chinese Billionaire, Miles Guo, also known as Miles Guo Wengui (aka Miles Kwok), has links to the Chinese Communist Party. He left China in 2014, alleging to have fled as a dissident, a self-exiled anti-communist whistleblower. According to documents filed in a federal court case in April 2021 in New York, Guo is a Chinese fugitive accused of being a spy for the Chinese government. Testimony in federal court revealed that he had dealings with Chinese Communist Party members. He admitted forwarding correspondence to the General Secretary of the Chinese Communist Party, China's President, Xi Jinping. Guo founded the social media website Gettr with former President Trump's senior advisor Jason Miller.
On October 14, 2020, The New York Post initially broke an exclusive report of damning information from Hunter Biden's laptop. Among other details, the Post's report stated, "Hunter Biden introduced his father, then-Vice President Joe Biden, to a top executive at a Ukrainian energy firm less than a year before the elder Biden pressured government officials in Ukraine into firing a prosecutor who was investigating the company, according to emails obtained by The Post."
Less than eight months after Pozharskyi thanked Hunter Biden for the introduction to his dad, the then-vice president admittedly pressured Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko and Prime Minister Arseniy Yatsenyuk into getting rid of Prosecutor General Viktor Shokin by threatening to withhold a $1 billion US loan guarantee during a December 2015 trip to Kyiv.
The FBI had the laptop information since 2019, "Photos of a Delaware federal subpoena given to The Post show that the computer and hard drive were seized by the FBI in December after the shop's owner says he alerted the feds to their existence."
The Post further states:
Steve Bannon, the former adviser to President Trump, told The Post about the existence of the hard drive in late September, and Giuliani provided The Post with a copy of it on Sunday.
Twitter and other social media companies across the internet immediately censored the report and suspended the Post from reporting all future content.
On October 16, 2020, the following Friday after the Post's report, The Daily Beast reported that GTV Media, owned by former Trump advisor Steve Bannon and Miles Guo, made a viral video of information from Hunter Biden's laptop.
The video accused Joe Biden of being controlled by China, saying: 'U.S. presidential candidate Joe Biden is 100% controlled by the Chinese Communist Party.' 'He is also a target of the CCP's 3F plan, which aims to "fall, fail, and fell," to weaken, destroy and kill America!' the clip says, according to the Washington Examiner. Sex tapes and images showing Hunter Biden using drugs and engaging in sexual acts with several women were also featured. It's as if the former Trump national security adviser, Bannon, intended to purposely discredit vital, legitimate information that voters deserved to know before casting their vote for president in the 2020 election.
Another still unanswered question is whether or not Twitter suspended The New York Post's Twitter account because of Bannon and Guo's viral video weeks before. Twitter refused to lift the Post's suspension until October 30, 2020, leading to untold revenue loss. All social media platforms followed in lockstep. The Federal Election Commission ruled that Twitter's restriction of the distribution of a New York Post article was lawful. The Post later filed a defamation suit against Twitter in December 2020. A Florida federal court dismissed the lawsuit in October of 2021.
Whether Twitter's suspension of The New York Post was political, as many believe, Bannon and Guo's viral video helped discredit the paper's legitimate reporting of Hunter and then-presidential candidate Joe Biden's alleged corruption. It falsely cemented the Post's reporting as disinformation in the eyes of many voters before the 2020 U.S. Presidential Election.
If Bannon wanted to expose the Biden family corruption before the 2020 election, it seems more logical that he would have released it to the Western media first. Instead, his actions ensured the story would be dead in the water and labeled Chinese propaganda.
The question that should be on everyone's mind: Was Bannon acting on behalf of the FBI and the DOJ as part of a deal because of the pending legal cases hanging over his head?
At the very least, former President Trump's pardon suggests that Bannon was in serious legal trouble that he was unlikely to escape. Trump has hinted that he plans to run for president in 2024. Billionaire Peter Thiel, who backed Trump in 2016, is seemingly remaking the Republican Party in Silicon Valley's image. He's invested tens of millions into Republican candidates, some of whom are friends and business associates in the tech industry. Bannon's media empire would likely assist Trump and Thiel's candidates in securing wins. One has to wonder if these events are related.
On March 17, 2022, the New York Post reported that the paper was finally vindicated, albeit two years later after Joe Biden secured the presidency. The Post's report "Now that Joe Biden's president, the Times finally admits: Hunter's laptop is real" details their prior saga and expresses the paper's delight that the New York Times finally admitted that the content was legitimate. The Washington Post validated the findings yesterday.
Just curious, are you part of a disinformation campaign? Everything that you're saying here is 100% wrong. Bannon never stops working and Western media wanted no part of that laptop. Why do you think they had to go to the Daily Mail? Pretending that Twitter suspended the New York Post for misinformation is the biggest joke. Twitter suspends anybody that goes against the narrative because they are a government censorship operation. I followed this entire laptop from the onset as well as the we build the wall campaign. Bannon was not in any legal trouble. They just wanted him out and they used the wall crowdfunding as a way to try to destroy him. It makes me laugh that you quote The Daily Beast and other liberal rags.
